Alvin Motley Jr., a 48-year-old Black man from Chicago, tragically died on August 7, 2021, in Memphis, TN. Motley, who was visiting Memphis with his girlfriend, Pia Foster, was shot and killed by Gregory Livingston, a 57-year-old former contract security guard for Kroger, at the Kroger Fuel Center on Poplar Avenue.
