Geraldine Bledsoe Harris, a 93-year-old long-time Memphis public school teacher, avid church member, and community activist, passed away on January 17, 2024, in Memphis, Tennessee. Her death has been reported as the result of a fatal shooting that occurred in the Glenview District of South Memphis.
