On April 10, 2025, Deanna Lenette Fluker, a 32-year-old African American woman, was fatally shot in the Whitehaven neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee. The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. in the 3000 block of Sullivan Drive. Emergency responders found her critically injured and transported her to Regional One Health, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
