Kenya Baskin, a 30-year-old woman from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost her life on December 6, 2021. Baskin, a Black woman, was found deceased in the 300 block of South Bellevue Boulevard in Memphis. Her death was the result of a violent act, which authorities quickly recognized as a homicide. The circumstances surrounding her death sparked immediate concern, and law enforcement began an investigation into the events leading up to it.
