On a November day that began with the promise of Christmas shopping, Jayson Hill’s life was tragically cut short in the parking lot of the Oak Court Mall in Memphis. It was November 20, 2021, when Hill, a father who had recently taken on a second job to provide for his family, was ambushed and fatally shot.
