In the quiet neighborhood of Clarksville, Tennessee, on the evening of December 8, 2021, the life of 17-year-old Arahmonie Georgio Donnell Majors was tragically cut short. An African American male, Majors was a student at Whites Creek Comprehensive High School and worked at a local Krystal's restaurant. Known for his independent and responsible nature, he enjoyed spending his free time with family and playing video games.
The events that led to his untimely death began to unfold through
a series of messages on social media. His 18-year-old ex-girlfriend, Miracle Bailey, lured him out of his home on Buckshot Drive. Unbeknownst to Majors, Bailey's current boyfriend, 18-year-old Robert Holland, was lying in wait. Convinced he was meeting Bailey alone, Majors left his house and was ambushed. Holland opened fire, and Majors was found by Clarksville Police lying dead in the road at approximately 8:42 p.m. from multiple gunshot wounds.
The investigation into the homicide moved swiftly. Detectives recovered Majors' cell phone at the scene, which contained Instagram messages exchanged just moments before his death. These messages detailed how Bailey had orchestrated the meeting, even using the app's vanishing mode feature in an attempt to cover their tracks. Both Holland and Bailey were quickly apprehended and charged with first-degree murder.
The subsequent trial, which took place in January 2024, lasted five days. After three hours of deliberation, a jury found both Robert Holland and Miracle Bailey guilty on all charges.
