Oliver LeBanks, a 27-year-old African American man, tragically lost his life on October 13, 1998. His death was caused by asphyxia due to strangulation, as confirmed by an autopsy. His body was discovered beneath a roadway overpass in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. Visible marks on his neck indicated the violent nature of his death.
