Juanita Washington, a 60-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on December 29, 2021, in Memphis, Tennessee. She was the head administrator at L.Y.E. Academy, a dance academy in Memphis. Juanita was shot while sitting in her car in the parking lot of a Walgreens on South Perkins Road.
