Sharice Sherry Turner, a 34-year-old woman from Memphis, TN, tragically died on February 21, 2014. She was discovered dead inside her home in the 3600 block of Firethorne Drive with a gunshot wound to the face. Her husband, Detrick Turner, claimed that the couple was struggling over a gun during a fight when it accidentally discharged, hitting Sharice in the face. However, a police affidavit noted there was no sign of a struggle inside the home.
