In the early hours of a Monday morning in Memphis, Tennessee, a dispute over a food order at a McDonald's in the Orange Mound neighborhood escalated into a fatal act of violence. On March 13, 2023, 28-year-old Chanteva Gray was shot and killed. The incident, which unfolded at the McDonald's located near Airways Boulevard and Lamar Avenue, sent shockwaves through the community.
