On a Sunday evening in Springfield, Tennessee, a sense of unease settled over the Robertson County Sheriff's Office. Savanna Brooke Puckett, a 22-year-old White female deputy, had uncharacteristically failed to report for her 5:00 p.m. roll call on January 23, 2022. A concerned colleague was dispatched to her home on Highway 41 North for a welfare check, only to discover a scene of horror.
