In the spring of 2022, a dispute in a Nashville hotel parking lot escalated into a fatal act of violence, claiming the life of 28-year-old Tarrance Martin. On the evening of Sunday, April 10th, Martin had reversed his vehicle into a parking space at the Somatel Nashville Airport Hotel located at 420 Metroplex Drive. His car was then intentionally blocked by a silver SUV, and an argument broke out between Martin and the driver of the other vehicle.
