On a Thursday night in Nashville, Tennessee, specifically November 7, 2019, a burst of gunfire inside an apartment at the Village on the Green complex on Ed Temple Boulevard ended the life of 37-year-old Darrelle Groves. Emergency responders rushed Groves to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, but his injuries proved fatal.

Another man, 20-year-old Tyontez Moore, was also wounded in the shooting. He was taken by a private vehicle to Summit Medical Center for treatment of a gunshot wound ...
