Hasani Brewer-Gant, an 18-year-old male of Black ethnicity, tragically died on May 18, 2022, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Sunny was a recent graduate of Riverdale High School and was fatally shot in a senseless act of violence that occurred on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University following the school's graduation ceremony. The incident took place when a 17-year-old former student of Riverdale High School opened fire into a crowd of celebrating graduates, resulting in Sunny's death.
