On February 12, 2022, Brandon Anderson, a 35-year-old man from Murfreesboro, TN, was tragically killed in a shooting at Habibi Hookah Café. The incident occurred around 2 a.m., when an argument escalated into gunfire in the parking lot of the café. Anderson was among five people shot, with four others sustaining injuries. Despite life-saving efforts by a responding police sergeant, Anderson succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
