In the late hours of a Friday night in Madison, Tennessee, a violent encounter at a gas station claimed the life of 28-year-old Courtlyn Hendricks, a Black male. On July 22, 2022, Hendricks and his brother were in two separate red cars at the Mapco on Gallatin Pike South when a gray Nissan Maxima with tinted windows pulled up and blocked their vehicles.
