In the early hours of what should have been a celebration, 22-year-old Kodie Mikey Lewis was found dead in Memphis, Tennessee. It was his birthday, December 13, 2022, when his body was discovered at 1:26 a.m. in an abandoned apartment complex on Pendleton Street. He had sustained an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
