Marion Blue, a man from Shippenville, Pennsylvania, died on July 1, 1906, after a shooting that later became part of the confession of Edward “Eddie” Walton, a transient killer who moved through several states under aliases including Frank Harris and Frank Johnson. Online accounts of the case place Blue in Shippenville in the summer of 1906, when Walton was passing through the area after earlier violence and robberies elsewhere.
