John F. McEntee Jr., a 24-year-old male police officer of Irish-American ethnicity, was tragically shot and killed on February 20, 1971, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Officer McEntee was sitting in his patrol car at the corner of Woodstock Street and Norris Street when he was ambushed by two youths, aged 15 and 18.
