Ronald "Ronnie" Turchi, a 64-year-old Italian-American male, was a prominent figure in the Philadelphia mob scene. He served as the consigliere for the Bruno-Scarfo crime family from 1994 until his demotion in 1997. Turchi's death on October 26, 1999, marked the beginning of the Joseph "Uncle Joe" Ligambi era in Philadelphia's organized crime.

Turchi was found dead in a car trunk in South Philadelphia, a victim of a mob hit believed to be orchestrated by Ligambi's faction. The murder was ...
