On a late summer evening in Pittsburgh, the life of a veteran police detective was tragically cut short in a violent confrontation. Norman Alexander Stewart, a 51-year-old Caucasian male, was a seasoned officer with fifteen and a half years of service with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police.
