Derek Schindler, a 30-year-old male of Caucasian ethnicity from Shaler Township, Pittsburgh, PA, tragically died on April 15, 2016. His death was the result of a shooting incident in the apartment of his friend, Joshua Huber. According to reports, Huber claimed that Schindler and Melissa Zuk, another victim, attacked him, prompting him to shoot them in self-defense. The incident occurred in Huber's apartment in Etna, a suburb of Pittsburgh.
