Police Officer Michael Harry Wise II, aged 32, tragically died on June 4, 2004, in Reading, Pennsylvania. Officer Wise was a dedicated member of the Reading Police Department, having served for two years. He was involved in a shootout while conducting a search for a suspect involved in an earlier shooting.
