Fard Najee Simms, a 19-year-old male from Chester, PA, was tragically shot and killed on March 19, 2009, inside Gino's Pizza on West Ninth Street. According to the prosecution, two men, Anthony Earls and Charles Smith, both 25 years old and from Chester, ambushed Simms and shot him eight times. The incident occurred early in the morning, and Simms was pronounced dead shortly after the shooting.
