Kyle David Pagerly, a 28-year-old Caucasian male, was a dedicated law enforcement officer with the Berks County Sheriff's Department in Pennsylvania. On June 29, 2011, while serving as part of a fugitive task force, Pagerly was fatally shot in Albany Township. The incident occurred when Pagerly and his canine partner, Jynx, pursued a suspect who had fled into the woods.
