In the city of Chester, Pennsylvania, a young life was abruptly cut short on October 3, 2011. Marvin Fitzgerald, an 18-year-old male, was a lifelong resident of the city, where he was born on January 5, 1993. He was a student in the Chester Upland School District and, like many his age, enjoyed football, basketball, and video games. His life, however, ended in an act of violence.
