In the summer of 2012, a young man's life was cut short in a senseless act of violence that continues to haunt his family and the city of Mckeesport, Pennsylvania. James Lane-Sims, a 20-year-old white male, was known as a hardworking and ambitious individual with a passion for cars. A 2010 graduate of Mckeesport Area High School, he was working as a cook at a local Taco Bell, saving up to attend school for auto mechanics. His life was full of promise and dreams for the future.
