On July 24, 2021, Dontae McKenith, an 18-year-old male from McKeesport, PA, was tragically shot and killed. McKenith was found on Soles Street just before 2 a.m., and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident occurred when McKenith and his friend, 16-year-old Phillip Payne, were handling a handgun.
