In the early morning hours of a Friday in June, the quiet of a Shaler Township neighborhood in Pittsburgh was shattered by the sound of gunfire. On June 13, 2014, 43-year-old Sharon Demore lay in wait on the porch of her estranged boyfriend's home on Louann Street. As he emerged to leave for work at approximately 6:30 a.m., Demore opened fire, shooting him multiple times before turning the gun on herself.
