Bernice Ruth Rothenberg Simon, an 84-year-old woman, tragically lost her life on October 27, 2018, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was one of the eleven victims of the horrific Tree of Life Synagogue shooting. Bernice and her husband, Sylvan Simon, were attending Shabbat morning services when a gunman, Robert Bowers, opened fire.
