In the summer of 2014, a promising young life was tragically cut short on the streets of Philadelphia. Jameer Haynesworth, a 16-year-old male, was an honor student with a bright future ahead of him. On the warm evening of June 21st, he was returning home from a movie with friends. Unbeknownst to him, a nearby block party at 8th and Berks Streets was growing unruly, drawing a large crowd and the attention of the Philadelphia Police.
