In the early morning hours of a mid-October Saturday in 2014, the life of Jerome Keith Buckner, a 38-year-old man from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, was tragically cut short. On October 18th, in the area of North Sixth and Maclay streets, Buckner was found suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of first responders, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His death was quickly ruled a homicide by the Dauphin County Coroner.
