On December 9, 2014, Jose Tito Carrero, a 24-year-old man from Allentown, PA, was tragically killed in a home invasion robbery. Carrero was shot in the chest while his 4-year-old daughter was sleeping next to him. The incident occurred at Carrero's West Pine Street apartment, where he was fatally shot during a confrontation with two armed men who broke into his home to steal money and synthetic marijuana.
