In the late hours of a Friday evening, the promise of a weekend was shattered by violence on the streets of Allentown, Pennsylvania. On April 21, 2023, Rahmil E. Gordon, a 29-year-old Black/African American man from the neighboring city of Bethlehem, found his life cut tragically short. At approximately 10:50 p.m., in the 1100 block of Maple Street, the sound of gunfire pierced the night. When emergency responders arrived at the scene, they found Gordon suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
