Trenton Reginald Grooms Sr., a 27-year-old African American man from Uniontown, PA, tragically passed away on May 24, 2016. His death was the result of a shooting incident in the Searights area of Menallen Township. Grooms was shot by Vincent Jones, 24, of Charleston, West Virginia, while allegedly attempting to break into a woman's home through her bedroom window.
Jones, along with Christian Carpenter, 23, of Highland Park, Michigan, were identified as suspects in the case. According to
