Sheri Shermeyer, a 40-year-old woman from Glen Rock, Pennsylvania, tragically died on December 26, 2016. She was found in her home with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Her death was ruled a suicide by the York County Coroner's Office. Sheri's 1-year-old son, John, was also found deceased in the home, and his death was determined to be asphyxiation. The cause and manner of John's death were pending further investigation, including toxicology results.
