Jihad Cromer, an 18-year-old male of African American ethnicity, was tragically shot and killed on February 21, 2017, in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. Cromer was known in his community as a mentor and role model, often spending time playing basketball and working with children at the Hayes Manor apartment complex. He had recently graduated from Sto-Rox High School and was planning to attend community college.
