Brian Irby, a 35-year-old man from McKees Rocks, PA, tragically died on October 7, 2021, from a gunshot wound to the chest. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. on Fair Oaks Street, near Friendship Avenue and Meyers Ridge Park. Irby was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after 5:15 p.m. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office ruled his death a homicide.
