On November 8, 2021, 18-year-old Hasson Shackelford, an African American male and senior at Sto-Rox High School in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, was tragically shot in the head while walking home from school. He was found with a gunshot wound to the head in the 700 block of Camp Street and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but unfortunately, he did not survive.
The incident prompted an immediate investigation by homicide detectives, who went door-to-door in the neighborhood
