Kwame Washington, a 24-year-old African American man from Pittsburgh, tragically lost his life on April 25, 2020, in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. He was sitting in a parked Chevrolet Equinox with a woman when an unknown man approached the passenger side of the vehicle and fired multiple shots into it. Washington, who was seated in the front passenger seat, was struck in the torso and pronounced dead at the scene. The woman in the vehicle was unharmed.
