In the summer of 2017, a young man's life was cut short in a fatal shooting in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. Twenty-two-year-old Stephon Jeffrey, a male from the North Side, was found with multiple gunshot wounds on the evening of July 29, 2017. The incident occurred near a maintenance shed on Robb Street within the Uansa Village public housing complex. Emergency services responded to the scene around 6:20 p.m. and transported Jeffrey to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
