In the small town of Kulpmont, Pennsylvania, the life of 53-year-old Vincent Thomas Crosby III, a Caucasian male, came to a tragic and unexpected end in September of 2017. According to statements Helena later gave to the police, Vincent became aggressive and threatened to kill her. In the midst of this terrifying encounter, while on the phone with 9-1-1, Helena discharged a. 22-caliber air rifle, striking Vincent in the face.
The pellet from the air rifle penetrated Vincent's nose and tragically traveled to his brain. He was rushed to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville for emergency medical treatment. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, Vincent Crosby III succumbed to his injuries three days later, on September 26, 2017. His death was classified as a homicide.
