Lesli Kelly, a 49-year-old woman of Caucasian ethnicity, was fatally shot by her ex-husband, William Kelly, on December 13, 2017, in Monaca, Pennsylvania. Lesli, a chef at Penn State Beaver, was meeting William in a parking lot to pick up Christmas gifts for their children when the incident occurred. The couple had been embroiled in a bitter custody battle, and Lesli had recently reported William's harassment to campus police.
