In the winter of 2018, the city of Reading, Pennsylvania, was shaken by a brutal act of violence that claimed the lives of four young men. Among them was Nelson Onofre, a 23-year-old Hispanic male. On the night of January 28th, Onofre, along with Jarlyn Lantigua-Tejada, 20, Juan Rodriguez, 23, and Joshua Santos, 20, were fatally shot multiple times inside a first-floor apartment in a row home on South Third Street.
