Anthony Cheever, a 19-year-old male of tragically lost his life to gun violence in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on June 12, 2019. Cheever was hanging out with a friend at Campbell Square Park in the Port Richmond neighborhood when he was shot in the chest. His friend, who was also shot in the thigh, survived and was taken to a local hospital. Cheever, however, succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital.
