Isiaka Meite, a 24-year-old man of African descent, tragically lost his life on June 16, 2019, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was fatally shot in the back during a high school graduation party held at Paschall Playground on the 6900 block of Reedbird Place. The incident occurred around 10:08 p.m., when a group of three Black males opened fire indiscriminately into the crowd of approximately 75 people.
