Curtiss Eugene Meeks Jr., a 48-year-old African American man from Pittsburgh, PA, tragically lost his life on August 12, 2019. He was fatally shot early in the morning in Penn Hills, a suburb of Pittsburgh. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of Blackadore Avenue. Meeks was found lying on the ground next to a car that was obstructing the road, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's report confirmed that he died at 2:20 a.m.
