Death by Force

Joshua Ryan Bowland, a 31-year-old man from Independence Township, was tragically shot and killed on August 28, 2019, in Avella, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred at his mother's residence on Camp Ground Road, where Bowland was pronounced dead at 11:29 p.m. due to a gunshot wound to the chest. The Washington County coroner ruled his death a homicide.
