Dashaun Lawrence Mookie Charles, an 18-year-old African American male from Johnstown, PA, tragically died on August 29, 2019. He was found in an alley near Bedford Street in Dale Borough, Johnstown, just after 5 a.m. The coroner's office pronounced him dead at the scene, and the death was ruled a homicide after it was determined that he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.
