Acacia Nykira Byrd, a 22-year-old Black female, tragically lost her life on September 9, 2019, in Philadelphia, PA. She was fatally shot while driving a blue Honda Odyssey on the 5700 block of McMahon Street around 11 p.m. After being shot, she lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the steps of a home on East Price Street. Despite immediate medical attention, Acacia did not survive.
